The last two weeks put your girl to the test. I have been all hyped about asking for help with Baby BIA and getting the community involved. And legitimately was proud of my progress.
Remember the “Sick and Shut In” List?
Then i get “sick and shut in” as the old church reared folks would call it. “Shut in” is no understatement. Quarantine was foreal. Did i mention i NEVER get sick. Songwriter said “No Neeeeeever”. But for two good days i was no GOOD!
That whole …. I don’t like to ask for help mantra, it doesn’t hit well when you need help the most.
But our bestie Carley came through. 💪🏾💪🏾 however my campaign is a bit different this go round. She was not feeling it that first. She tried to throw me away at first. Fortunately she went away with God and wise counsel that redirected her accordingly.
What is accordingly you say?
Do the right thing.
Have the hard conversations.
Learn about yourself and the other person.
Consider the info next time you engage

This is community! This is what community looks like. When you do community right it will flourish and serve everyone in proximity to it.
Community looks like LOVE. And love looks like ……
This quote by Paul says it best
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
More often than we may realize, being a true friend is hard.
1) Putting your ego aside to be transparent about why a moment challenges you.
2) It takes vulnerability to then share about the whys of that challenge . Things that are small for one person can be mountains to others.
Making room for each other’s mountains to show is BIG.
But what’s even bigger is conquering a mountain together!
Let’s keep strengthening our community and conquering these mountains!
